Dear MK-User,

The following four titles can be found in the MK426:

1557. Forsthaus Falkenau was a family series produced by the new German film company (ndF) from 1988 to 2013 on behalf of ZDF. With the broadcast of the 24th season from October 11 to December 27, 2013, the series ended after 25 years. The Rombach (until 2006) and Leitner (from 2007 to 2013) forester families were at the center of the action. First, the series played in the fictional town of Küblach in the district of Freyung-Grafenau in the Bavarian Forest, from 2011 to 2013 the also fictional town of Störzing am Ammersee was the scene of the action. Martin Böttcher (*1927†2019), composer, he wrote music for more than 50 cinema films and 300 TV productions.

1558. Morning of My Life is a BEE GEES song that Barry Gibb wrote in Australia in 1965 and was later recorded by the Bee Gees and several other artists. It was recorded in 1966 during the sessions for the Bee Gees album Spicks and Specks. The Israeli duo Esther & Abi Ofarim recorded the song in 1967. This was their first UK release. It was released as a single on Philips Records in September 1967 and became a hit single in Germany, reaching number 2 and number 9 in Austria. The orchestral arrangement was by Phil Dennys (who also arranged some songs on the Bee Gees' 1st album). The single was released in mono and the song also appeared on the Ofarims' album 2 and 3.

1559. Bravissimo! Ricky King (*1946) is a German, very successful solo guitarist, known for his SHADOWS style. He learned to play the guitar self-taught. After completing his schooling, he completed an apprenticeship as a radio and television technician. He then studied music at the Karlsruhe Music Academy and passed the exam to become a state- certified music teacher in 1971. From 1960 he played in various local bands and worked as a studio musician for well-known pop artists such as Paola, Roberto Blanco and Costa Cordalis. In this arrangement he celebrates the "alternating pick" with a plectrum on his guitar. The string tones are plucked alternately from above and below at half the scorevalue - a real challenge for keyboardists and pianists, where this technique is called "key repetition"!

1560. Toccata. Paul Mauriat (1925-2006) is a famous French composer, conductor and arranger, born in Marseille into a family of musicians. When he was 4 years old, his father began teaching him to play the piano and introduced him to classical and pop music. At the age of 17, Paul founded his first orchestra. The orchestra played successfully in cabarets and variety shows within France and later throughout Europe. In 1962, Paul co-wrote, with Frank Pourcelda's song "Chariot", which won the Grand Prix Eurovision. The song was later given the English name “I Will Follow Him” and became popular in the USA (MWP No. 1047). All MWP versions (KEY1+2/ORG1/PNO1) are musically identical. KEY2 in original Bm, all versions 1 in Am.
